That’s exactly why the RAB Design team developed the LFY4-LED. Instead of just designing another vapour-tight fixture in a lab, we talked to electricians—the people who install and maintain these lights—about their biggest frustrations. Then, we built a solution around what really matters on the job.

Case in point, parkade lighting presents significant challenges, because existing fixtures are difficult to install, maintain, and lack durability. Because of this, David Beron, RAB Design president, took a unique approach to designing the LFY4-LED. He engaged 15 experienced foremen who shared their real-world frustrations and suggestions. These discussions shaped every aspect of the fixture’s design, ensuring it addressed practical concerns that standard vapour-tight fixtures overlooked.
